Students pitch fixes to environmental problems in CleanTech Challenge (photos)

Portland State University is showing off its student talent and trying to fix some of the world’s pressing environmental problems.

Seven teams of Portland State University students are competing for $10,000 in grants and prizes in its Seventh Annual CleanTech Challenge. The teams will also be featured at this week’s TechFestNW at 9 a.m. Friday on the PSU campus.

It is is open to all students and gives them access to mentors and experts who can help them develop their ideas into viable prototypes.…
