Texas oil production starts 2019 with dip

Oil and gas production in Texas dipped slightly in January, with 10 million fewer barrels being produced than in January 2018, according to the latest figures from the Railroad Commission of Texas.

Texas oil fields produced 109 million barrels of oil in January, down from 119 million barrels during the same month the prior year, according to figures released by the Commission on April 2. The agency hasn’t released figures for February or March.
