These Greater Philadelphia public companies had the biggest pay gaps between CEO and worker in 2021

CEOs at Greater Philadelphia’s largest public companies made as much as 1,000 times more than their typical employees in 2021, according to a Business Journal analysis of proxy statements.

Since 2017, publicly traded companies have been required to disclose the ratio of CEO compensation to median employee salary when filing proxy statements with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
