When it comes to carbon, Microsoft president says ‘neutrality is not enough’

Microsoft committed to be carbon negative by 2030 across its direct emissions and supply chain, CEO Satya Nadella announced at a Thursday event.

The Redmond-based company will also remove all the carbon it has emitted directly or by electrical consumption since its founding in 1975, and it committed to investing $1 billion over four years in technology to remove carbon from the atmosphere.
