Wichita Community Foundation, Westar announce grant recipients

Thirteen nonprofits in three northeast Wichita zip codes will receive grants totaling $376,000 from the Evergy Community Investment fund at the Wichita Community Foundation.

Westar Energy, part of the Evergy company, announced the grant competition in April while saying it had invested $1 million into the Evergy fund.
