The Xcel Energy Foundation, the charitable arm of Minneapolis-based Xcel Energy Inc., said Tuesday that it’ll increase its grant funding in 2022 and refocus its giving on three areas that better reflect its business priorities.
The 2022 program, renamed Energizing the Future, will provide grants totaling $4.4 million, an increase from $3.8 million in 2021, and focus on these three priorities, according to a news release:
