Burns & McDonnell wins lead role on $134M Niagara Falls project

The New York Power Authority (NYPA) has selected Burns & McDonnell as the engineer-procue-construct (EPC) contractor for a $134 million electrical control system upgrade and modernization project.

The giant Kansas City-based architecture, construction and engineering company will be tasked with extending the life of a 2,525-megawatt hydropower plant located on the Niagara Falls Waterway.
