CMU to buy wind power for Pittsburgh campus

Carnegie Mellon University said on Monday it had reached agreement with a wind farm for electricity for its Pittsburgh campus.

The agreements with Engie Resources go through 2024 for electricity coming from the Radford’s Run Wind Farm in Macon County, Ill. Terms of the agreement weren’t announced.

The announcement also includes renewable energy credits, said the news release from CMU, Engie Resources and Amerex Energy Services.
