Columbia Gas of Ohio has tripled its investment in growing Columbus this decade

Columbia Gas of Ohio is now investing nine figures a year to keep up with Central Ohio’s growth.

The utility’s annual capital spending has surged from about $33 million in 2010 closer to $100 million this year as it tries to try to meet demand in Central Ohio with new and improved gas lines and other kinds of technology.
