Exxon Mobil settles with Feds over Beaumont facility fire

Exxon Mobil Corp. (NYSE: XOM), which has a major presence in Houston, has reached a settlement with federal prosecutors over its role in a 2013 fire at an oil refinery in Beaumont, Texas, that killed two workers and 10 others.
