Fire at Houston-area oil and gas facility still burning, spreads

Update March 18: As of 5:30 a.m. Monday, March 18, the fire at the ITC Deer Park terminal was still burning and had spread to a total of eight tanks, per a release from the company. The tanks burning contain toluene — used to produce nail polish remover, glues and paint thinner — as well as naphtha and xylene — both used in gasoline and related products.
