Growing Alabama company plans expansion

A North Alabama machining and fabrication company is planning an expansion that will result in at least 25 jobs.

Decatur’s M&J Precision brought plans for a $3.55 million expansion project before the Decatur Industrial Development Board, according to AL.com.

The board authorized $159,275 in property and sales tax abatements for the company as well as a $3.8 million total tax abatement for Joe Wheeler Electric Membership Corp.
