Houston-based oil field services co. names new CEO, makes related C-suite changes

Houston-based Now Inc. (NYSE: DNOW), an oil field services company that also goes by DistributionNow, has promoted its CFO up to CEO.

Effective immediately, David Cherechinsky will take over the role from board director and interim CEO Dick Alario, according to a June 1 press release. Alario took on the interim role in November when previous CEO Robert Workman’s employment was terminated, but he did not want to be considered for the permanent role.
