KC drives big push for energy efficiency

Kansas City is pushing to go green, and its plans to power municipal buildings sans carbon is inching closer to fruition, The Kansas City Star reports. 

The city’s Finance and Governance Committee unanimously approved a resolution Wednesday to collaborate with KCP&L to use electricity from carbon-free sources starting Dec. 31, 2020.
