NC State, UNCC team up on effort to improve grid for Duke Energy

UNC Charlotte’s Energy Production and Infrastructure Center (EPIC) is working through three years of power-outage data from Duke Energy Corp. as part of a $300,000 federal grant to improve resiliency of the electric grid.

The U.S. Department of Energy grant is administered by the N.C. Department of Environmental Quality.
