Sharon Suzuki to retire as head of Maui County, Hawaii Island electric utilities

Sharon Suzuki, President of Maui County and Hawaii Island Utilities, is retiring at the start of next month, setting the stage for further transformation of Hawaiian Electric Co.’s organizational structure.

Suzuki oversaw the administration HECO subsidiaries Maui Electric Co. and Hawaii Electric Light Co. since 2019.
