The Trump administration’s rewrite of the North American Free Trade Agreement will likely be put to a vote before the U.S. House of Representatives this fall and will pass both chambers by year’s end, Texas Rep. Henry Cuellar said at a San Antonio energy forum Tuesday.
Opposition to the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement, which the Texas congressman called “NAFTA 2.0,” hasn’t been as vocal as that received by past trade agreements, Cuellar said.
