JEA outlines proposed fee increases for water, sewer and electric for 2022

Jacksonville Electric Authority CEO Jay Stowe said Friday that Jacksonville residents and builders might not see a noticeable increase in electric and water rates in 2022, but there will be the need for larger fees moving forward.

JEA’s board proposed spreading out both the increase in capacity fees and residential fees across a two-year time span, Stowe said.
